Alison was born and raised in Los Angeles, and from an early age was immersed in the film and television industry thanks to her father’s career as a camera operator. At eighteen years old, Alison worked as a Costume PA on her first film, marking the beginning of her career in the industry. Since then, she has steadily built her experience working on a variety of different projects from comedies, dramas and procedurals, to horror and fantasy. She has held every position within her department, which has provided her with an extensive and well-rounded understanding of every aspect of her craft.

As a Costume Designer, Alison thrives on the collaborative and creative process of story telling through costumes. She is inspired by real people, culture, art and personal experience. She recognizes the importance of detail and nuance necessary to accurately portray costumes on screen, as everything from fabric, color palette and fit can change the way a character feels to an audience. Through research, experience and creativity, Alison is dedicated to designing costumes that help bring characters and stories to life.

In her free time, Alison loves to travel, write, paint, and is always exploring creative mediums and new forms of self expression. She also owns a vintage shop and personal styling business, SOSOSO GOODS.
